Hadarac Desert

The Empire effectively ends at the Hadarac Desert, which fills the heart of Alagaësia. Without the early Dragon Riders, it is simple too difficult to maintain a government over that vast track of desolate earth. In fact, the desert is one of the few things that prevents the king from expanding the Empire to include all of Eastern Alagaësia. The Hadarac Desert is also the dragons' ancestral land.
