Mur'zac stood behind the wall, waiting for the kings guards to pass. He hid himself in the shadows, as he always did, out of sight, where no one could reach him. He was trained to use the shadows, as his applies, as his weapon. One thing he learned is that, people fear what they cannot see, he used this fear, to defeat his enemies, he became their fear, he dwells on what interfered with a persons sanity. Mur'zac was sent on this mission to retrieve the plans of the king, which his guards were supposedly delivering. He peered around the corner to indeed see the guards approaching, and were indeed carrying what seemed to be a scroll, with hopefully plans of attack, that the Varden could use. Without a second to waste he drew upon the magic of his bracelet and vanished from sight, he had to be quick, as any normal person would have been killed in the first few seconds of the bracelet releasing. Mur'zac ran across the street, waiting for the guards to come level with him. Most of them seemed very nervous, probably because of the night, it was a dangerous time to be out, for anyone. As the guards got closer, Mur'zac started to slowly walk up to them, still invisible to the eye. He slipped behind the squad and stalked the last guard, who was directly behind the scroll carrier. With one quick motion, Mur'zac pulled out a knife and slit the soldier's throat and dragged him back wards, careful not to make a sound. Once the body was out of site he jumped over the wall and returned to the remaining guards. He quickly realized killing them one by one would take to long, so he decided to go for a much quicker approach. he released the magic from the bracelet and he faded into view again.
"Hello boys" The soldiers swerved around to see, not their team mate, but mur'zac, battle ready, Sparda, his sword held tightly in his hand.
"Fancy Handing over the scroll before i kill you, or after?" One of the guards charged at Mur'zac, but was to slow, Mur'zac dropped to one knee and plunged the sword into his stomach, then swerved around and took out the legs of another guard. He then jumped up and parried the blows of the 2 remaining armed guards. He dived out the way and punched the one guard in the ribs, and the guard fell to the floor, gasping for air, Mur'zac swung down his blade and killed the soldier. The last guard approached, Axe in hand. "Now for some fun" Mur'zac whispered a few words in the ancient language, and all went pitch black. The guard looked around but there was nothing to be seen, darkness for miles ahead, into the distance. Suddenly the soldier dropped to his knees in pain, noticing a blade piercing his chest, the blade was glowing black, and dark energy was radiating from it. "I can feel your fears..." Mur'zac looked down at the body of the fallen soldier, a sheer look of terror over the guards face.
"Mission complete" Mur'zac picked up the scroll and bounced off into the night.
