I've known sinc eI was going to apply for a part, but then the part I was applying for was taken by a Hungarian, so I gave up This is was about in.... May, or June, or July, when they were casting for characters. I can't wait til it comes out though, I'm interested in how long the movie will be. Teh books were longer than Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, so I don't know if they'll take a bunch of things out.

I guess they will - look how much they took out of the fourth Harry Potter for the film, and Eragon is pretty long.
I can't make up my mind whether I'm looking forward to the film or not! Because if the film is awful, it will ruin what I have in my head for the books. The same thing happened when the HP filmis came out - they were so poor in comparison to the books, and just a little bit of "the magic" was taken away.
Although I've seen posters for the film (on the net) and it looks quite good.

Ya, only problem is I don't like half the people they casted. they either look too young, too old, or don't look like the charrys. Take Arya, for instance. She has DARK hair, but Sienna Guillory has blonde. thats WAY off.

Umm... google it. If you search for Eragon Film pictures, or osmething, it should come up with a picture of a lot of the characters. It includes Durza, Galbatorix, Ajihod, Eragon, Brom, Arya, Murtagh, and I think they had a guy with green-like skin, but I can't remember. They didn't show Orik in the picture though.

Hm. I just found them. I think that Eragon and Murtagh look quite good, but the others... it looks a little pretentious. Arya looks ridiculous! I'm sure the woman's a great actress and all, but she looks wrong! I'm not sure what I think, I think I'll have to wait and see them actually in the film.

or shur'tugal.com. hes supposed to be 15, but what i meant was he looks too young. he looks sort of like a child to me i guess. in the book it says that travel made him look like a man, and im hoping that pic is only him in the first part because if im supposed to believe that a scrawny boy like that can defeat a shade, im not going to be impressed. same opinion for Arya, and Angela looks too young. Joss Stone is too pretty and too young to play Angela.

I agree with what you say about Arya - she doesn't look... distinguished enough? - and Angela, but i think Eragon looks pretty good. And he has got a dragon to help him defeat Durza.
I think that's what I really want to see - how they'll do Saphira!

O ya, I know. I can't remember what the guy did, but the graphics guy in charge of Saphira worked on something big like LOTR or something. i cant remember what it was exactly tho.

Can we see any images of her yet? I'm guessing she'll be CGI produced, but it would be cool to get a preview of her before the film comes out. I wouldn't bee surprised if the artist worked on LOTR - since that movie was such a success, everyone's being trying to get those studios to work for them. Narnia, for example, was produced by the same artists' studio (WETA)
